Cafe LM Dairy LLC is more than just goat milk, soap, lotions and confections. Over the past 14 years, I have grown as a gardener, a scholar, a mother and an educator. 

    I love learning and sharing my knowledge with my students. Whether the students are my own children, the children from homeschooler co-op, or adults who have attended my private classes, I enjoy educating people. I love seeing faces light up as they derive enjoyment from my lessons. I love sharing the skills my grandparents and great grandparents had; everyday skills that to them were second nature, but to our modern culture can be a foreign concept. 

    I have always been a history buff. Ever since I was a child, I loved history. More specifically, I loved learning how people survived, did things, created simple things. I loved the cloths, jewelry, styles and survival. I am always on the hunt for old books, lifestyle magazines, recipes, journals, etc. Anything that gives a hint to how our ancestors lived, even just fifty years ago. 

    I don’t want to live in the past. God made me and placed me in this time period for sharing the lost skills and arts. I love living in this age; I love bringing the past to life for students and people. It is my passion. 

    Here, in the Homesteading Articles and Blog, that is what you will find. Videos, Articles, How-to’s, Step by Step Instructions, etc. For now all the articles are free for you use. In time, as this portion of Cafe LM Dairy grows, we will add more complex educational materials, educational series of videos, etc, that will come with a small subscription fee. This simply is to help pay my bills and my staff. We will always have free material for your reference and to learn though. 

    So kick back, grab a cup of coffee with butter, cream or goat milk…what ever floats your goat…and enjoy these articles and How-tos. And as always, may God find you where you are today.
